Bob DeBolt is CEO of Mesirow Private Equity, leads the investment due diligence team, is a member of the Private Equity Investment Committee and is involved in all aspects of the private equity investment process. Bob participates on the limited partner advisory committees for a number of buyout and venture capital partnerships. He is also a member of Mesirow’s Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Mesirow in 2004, Bob was a Principal with Adams Street Partners, where he was responsible for due diligence on private equity partnerships and secondary investments. He began his career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch & Co.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Princeton University where he was an Academic All-Ivy member of the football team, and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he has been a guest lecturer. Bob currently volunteers as a mentor to a Chicago high school student through LINK Unlimited Scholars.
